Hemlock Restoration

Blue Ridge RC&D has been active in hemlock bio-control since 2003 and fully supports restoration efforts using native predatory beetles. Blue Ridge RC&D currently is actively implementing a North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Hemlock Restoration Initiative grant, “Community Training and Release of Predator Beetles”.  For more information see the "Documents" page.
